I have uploaded this entire blog, going all the way back to 2011 and the first ever post (which carried the startlingly erotic title 'Why are we here?' - a question not yet answered, I'll admit).
Anyway, the format isn't quite right (and the formats of some of the imported posts from this Blogger version are particularly horrible) but I think it works well enough to go live and become the main blog. So, go there not here.
Why are you still here? The naughty pictures of stern-looking ladies are somewhere else now.
I think everything moved across... comments too, I am very glad to say.
Let me have any comments, especially anything that looks weird (apart from the stuff that's supposed to look weird, like Rule 18) or doesn't work. I might run the two in parallel for a bit but that's hard work, and like most males I'm quite lazy, so I'll probably just post there from now unless there's some problem. I'll put up a post just noting more straightforwardly that this blog has moved, in a few days' time.

ReplyDeleteOh... ignorance, technological incompetence (I am very much web 1.0, I'm afraid - never really got into Reddit) - take your pick. My SO would probably add stubbornness and laziness to the list, traits of mine she has to deal with on an almost daily basis, sad to say.
DeleteAnyway, I do blogs, web-pages... 1.0, like I said. Maybe some time I'll look into setting up a Reddit to promote the blog, like I did with Tumblr, but maybe not.

I'm over 40 and Reddit is easy for us web 1.0 folks. You make an account using your email, and just drag and drop images to post them. All you have to do is pick where the image goes. If it's chastity, r/KeyholderCaptions. If it's ball busting, r/FemdomCBTcaptions, if it's cuckolding, r/CuckoldCaptions. Pretty easy, and you can post on more than one.
DeleteOK, thanks for the advice. I might try it some time. However, I don't want to lose the sense that the blog kind of works as a whole, cross referencing previous posts and running themes and with even something of a (slightly weird but lovable) community.
DeleteI think of this as a place: my place. I'lm not just posting individual images (although of course, people are entirely welcome to see it differently and just dip into it as a stock of individual images if that is what they prefer).
I might try Reddit to promote the blog itself, in due course, much as I do on Tumblr. But I've a few things I want to sort out still on the new blog first.

DeleteYou can start r/ContemplatingTheDivine or r/Servitor and have all your posts in one place, and also crosspost (reddit's version of reblog) posts from your sub to other subs to promote it. So if it's a chastity one, you put it on r/Servitor, and then crosspost to r/KeyholderCaptions and the 93k members of KeyholderCaptions see your caption and also see that it came from your subreddit.
DO on tumblr or DID on tumblr? Cause tumblr banned this stuff in 2018. All the adults left.

No, there'll be posts here for the next week or so to keep the blog prominent on feeds, but then I'll stop. I cannot directly translate a post for the two blogs, I have to do quite a bit to make each one separately, so even for a fan of pointless and degrading tasks like me, that's not something I plan to do.

Translate? I checked your site it's all in English. If this is taking any time...I'm not sure what you're doing. I do this to and it's so easy I can do it faster than I can explain it. Go to site, drag/drop picture, type title, hit publish. done.
ReplyDeleteFair enough, although I didn't literally mean translate. There are a few complications, such as the captions under the pictures, the internal links when I reference other posts to be remade (and longer-form stories would be different again, although no harder). But indeed, you';re right of course, it wouldn't be a big deal to copy the material from each post across, but I don't see the point. Everything is there and everyone can see it.
