Realism in BDSM

Occasionally I get comments from 'readers' objecting to a lack of realism in some of my captioned images.  And although, obviously, I like to claim that everything depicted here is true to life, that's what my Significant Other likes to term 'a lie' and I know what happens to little boys who lie, don't I? Yes I do.

....

Sorry, where was I?  I started thinking about something else.

Oh yes!  Realism. Right, well I have the perfect excuse because just over there to the right, in the blog-blurb written on the very first day of this blog's existence (January 2011...oh, I was young, carefree, innocent), I make quite clear that everything here is a total fantasy (I'm not really called 'Servitor', I don't own a computer and I actually can't speak English, as it happens), so there and yah boo, I win the argument!

However, I recognise that there are those who like their kink a bit more on the realistic side, so in total contradiction to everything I've ever said on the subject, here are some captioned images that try to capture aspects of femdom as it's practised in the real world.

    1. Sounds like you're speaking from personal experience there, Declan. Pervert. However do so many weirdos find their way to this blog...?

Oh, who am I kidding? You are very welcome, as ever.

It's tempting to do more like the middle one of the kind of aburdities that occur in-session, but I'm conscious that most of them actually reflect our own (my own, anyway) hypocrisy. The dommes I have visited have been, almost without exception, extraordinarily professional and perceptive. The biggest problem is often the poor Lady trying to sound cruel, heartless and sadistic while nonetheless staying carefully within the utterly feeble limits of my ability to 'take' pain. If anyone is being ridiculous there, it is I and not her.

  2. OMG, these are fantastic. You've gotta do this again.

Stuff like this is why I started Tiresome Tropes a few years ago. The sorely missed Bitchy Jones used to make occasional references to such things.

    1. Thank you Tom. I used to do rather more of these although I don't think I've ever done a themed post on them before. But then, Tiresome Tropes has it pretty well covered, although from time to time you post images that I find to be anything but tiresome. I really, really like pictures of dommes pointing at things...

  3. Yes I so miss Bitchy Jones. She was the first to sympathetically deconstruct silly notions about Femdom in Her own inimitable style. Femsup

    1. A domme who is good at deconstruction sounds both scary and exciting. I'll have to suggest it to my SO, maybe to incorporate in one of our hermeneutics sessions.

Derida said "we are not dealing with the peaceful coexistence of a vis-a-vis, but rather with a violent hierarchy. One of the two terms governs the other (axiologically, logically, etc.), or has the upper hand" and he wasn't wrong.
