Furious feminine

It's not that ironic.  He strongly disapproved of it while it was being done to him, too - more so than ever, if anything.

"We" did, although only only one of us did most of the actual talking, as I recall it.

You might want to refer her to your own 'FAM' - that's 'Frantic Appeals for Mercy'

The simply divine Mistress Heather.  I for one would love to kiss the air above that foot tattoo, and even closer if allowed.

Thank goodness she realised you needed to be locked in chastity too.  How awful it would be to be locked in a prison cell for months without any ability to suffer the erotic frisson of enforced chastity at the same time.

She also has a carving knife.

  1. Darling I told you that you check with me if you want to have an opinion about anything, ok? We will then discuss it and I will tell you what is acceptable to me and from then on that will be your opinion. Unless, of course, I change my mind and then you'll be given a new opinion on the matter.

I hope that is clear, honey. Now get on with handwashing my white blouse.

    1. I used to think it was OK to have my own opinion, as long as I kept it to myself and did what I was told. But it turns out I was mistaken and I no longer believe that.

Zoe: like all women, you have a right to change your mind, and of course the right to change the minds of those who depend on you for guidance too. Thank you for your comment.

    1. She was only a farmer's daughter but she always had a extra large crop... oh that was rubbish.

She was only a publican's daughter but she knew how to pull a pint. Better.

She was only a gelder's daughter but she, erm...

  3. ''Honey, why did you say that? You know I really love that you take an interest in politics and the news and so on, but I don't expect you to give an opinion, like that, on Russia or Putin in front of my friends, ok?''

''I am sorry, high goddess, I am sorry Richard, Katy and Melissa. I didn't mean to speak out of place, but you were just talking about the influence of Russia and the war in Ukraine. I am a silly sissy! I am so sorry.''

Katy: ''Max, why do you think Putin invaded when he did, and do you think the war will go on into 2024 and 2025. You don't mind him answering, do you, Zoe?''

''No, it's ok. Answer then Max. Quickly.''

''Well, goddess Katy, I think the Putin sees Ukraine as Russian as Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union, before declaring itself an independent country. Putin's opinion has always been that Ukrainians and Russians are the same people, that they're part of the Slavic Brotherhood of Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine. If it pleases you goddess. I am sorry for being silly, goddess."

''Interesting. Now go and serve dinner, and no more silly talk about things you do not understand. So sorry, Katy. He is a silly sissy sometimes.''

The lunch Max served was a wonderful french beef stew with vegetables and home made bread.

''Delicious, Zoe. You do serve good food.''

    ''Thanks, Richard.''

    1. Goodness, are you still commenting here, Ms Zoe?

I don't suppose anyone will ever read this exchange, but I do think on this occasion little Maxie is deeply confused.

Whatever his opinions, Mr Putin does not get to decide whether another country should really be part of his, any more than Mr Sunak can decide that Ireland should rejoin the UK. That's for the Ukrainians to decide and their opinions seem fairly clear on the subject. Even Mr Putin's government recognised Ukraine's independence until very recently, as does every other country in the world, so he seems to be in a bit of a minority on that one.

And the many other countries that were part of, or occupied by, the Soviet Union also fret a bit that Mr Putin might start getting the silly idea that their borders and independence don't matter either, which is probably why they support Ukraine.

Glad to hear about the stew.

      Best wishes
