Think of all the fun I've missed

Oh, you can wait, surely?  So selfish...

Males often don't listen properly to women.  The best thing, I find, when discussing something important, is to concentrate 100% on listening, not speaking.  That way, there's less danger of a painful misunderstanding.

Accessorise

I wouldn't say 'peaked' exactly.  It continued to rise for a bit, then fell off a cliff, so to speak.

Christmas Special tomorrow on Contemplating the Divine!  What's special about it?  Oh, well - the captions are all about Christmas!  Like this one, y'know... not that special, I suppose.  But then who among us is, apart from the ladies obviously?

    1. Indeed. One of my SO's favourite books, as it happens. She said as a young teenager she just read the 'rat cage' scene over and over again.

      Many thanks for commenting.

  2. The picture from the "Moutoussi" caption has been used before on this blog... do you remember when? I was looking for the earlier post but couldn't find it.

    1. Mmmm. I actually don't remember that at all, although it's perfectly possible that I did so. I seem to have downloaded the original photo in July 2021 and I don't think I have a duplicate of it so it seems unlikely...

I do of course have other photos of dominatrix-styled ladies on catwalks (I mean, who doesn't?) and a great many fashion-related captions, mostly on the 'slaveskin' theme so you could be thinking of one of those?

But if not, it wouldn't be the first time a reader has displayed better memory of the blog than I do. I can be quite forgetful, after all, as my SO often laughingly reminds me (also lazy, stupid, clumsy and disrespectful, among other things, apparently).

    2. Maybe the photo has been edited (the woman's face in the Moutoussi caption looks somehow edited) and so the photo's not exactly the same. But the other caption definitely exists - I remember the gist of it. The woman took over a fashion label from the man she is walking; the punchline is that she "not only replaced her predecessor but accessorized him."

    3. Goodness me, you're right. Beneath contempt. Have you ever considered a career as a search engine?

Looks like someone reversed the image and (fairly skillfully, compared to the general standard for these things) photoshopped a new head on. So that's why I didn't identify it as a duplicate of the previous image. I don't really like captioning photo-manips (although I think I sometimes have, when a celebrity's face has been stuck onto some sexy pose, typically because I didn't recognise the celebrity), as it just seems like cheating. Easy enough to do a "here's a sweet-looking girl saying vicious and brutal things" if you just stick her head onto a militaristic domme body, for example.

I prefer my previous version. I'd better not remove this one, though, or this exchange in the comments will all look a bit mad...

Incidentally, it also appears that I have two posts titled 'Beneath Contempt'. Oh dear... "Contemplating the Divine... recycling stale ideas since 2016".

Congratulations on your sharp observational skills and attention span!

  3. I'll never buy from Moutoussi ever since I found out they don't geld their males in-house. I refuse to pay a mark-up on a male from some ranch in California!

    1. Quite right. One must insist on authenticity. Do you know, I saw that a formerly reputable malehide fashion house is now advertising a 'cruelty free' range! Disgraceful - but I cannot imagine any lady with true fashion sense buying it.
